WOW, it doesn't seem like it has been nearly 11 years, since we opened the shop upstairs, on Friday September 13, 2002!
I wanted to open in honor of my parents were married on Friday September 13, 1947. And yes, they were married on a Friday! We opened our doors on that date, in honor of my parents, since they were not here to see me start my life long dream of owning my own business! (What was I thinking!!) The best part of owning a small business is all the wonderful customers, friends and staff! We could not have done it without you!

Sandy and I were so proud of our progress when we opened with only 700 bolts, but it did not take long to fill up the shop! .... I sure miss her, as
she taught me so much about the retail business and quilting!
